Surwa in Sofia Pernik Starting from 16 January 1966, in located 30km from the city of Sofia, Pernik, is - more or less regular basis - a fantastic festival featuring folk roots tradition dating to pagan times! Bulgarians say that they are the habits of ancient Thrace, but it seems to me that searching for their sources should consult widely, deeply significant in the long history of gloominess. Surwa (Cурва) the name given to this festival. Initially it took place very regularly, but in recent years, steadily increasing interest in it. Arrive at a group of other Balkan countries, because there are similar practices. But his fame goes back and forth.
This year, there were also groups from more distant countries. There were, among others: a group of Polish, were a group from the Ukraine, and even from Palestine!
